I was talking to another eco-warrior gal pal the other day about cleaners. Both of us use combined arsenals for our cleaning: some DIY products, some environmentally friendly cleaners. But my friend also admitted this week that she uses....BLEACH! Only a little bit! only a little bit! She swears...her thoughts: with all of our research we've never found any DIY product that truly has the ability to wash away dangers such as salmonella. So she uses a touch of bleach to clean counters and sinks after preparing meat, and also uses it occassionally to clean her bathtub.

So, first question: Do you see reasons to use bleach in any of your cleaning?

Second question: Have you found something natural that does the trick, the way that bleach does?
