"Going Green" seems to be the new slogan for many companies these days. A great example would be grocery stores, such as Whole Foods. Instead of only offering plastic and paper bags, they also offer their own canvas bags that customers can buy and reuse when they shop at their store. Not only does this help save the environment and to get people to stop using plastic but they also have the convienience of having their own bag with them at all times, and they can use it anywhere. If more customers starting doing this, they could really make an incredible impact on the environment and would really help down the road. Hopefully "Going Green" will not just be a fashionable slogan that is thrown around, but will actually make people think and get them more involved with the well being of their environment.
