Want a great, natural solution for that clogged drain? We love this tip! It's not only effective, but it's also a fun process. If you have small children in the house, consider having them help you. Kids love the reaction caused by mixing baking soda and vinegar, and because this is a natural solution, there's no need to worry about protecting them from harsh chemicals.
What you'll need:
Baking Soda
Vinegar
Water
What you'll do:
Start by pouring 1/4 cup baking soda into the clogged drain. It might stay around the surface, which is OK.
Pour 1/4 cup vinegar into the drain.
Watch fizzies erupt from drain. Giggle with your kids, or the kid inside of you.
Wait 10 minutes. Boil water in the meantime.
Pour boiling water into sink. This will flush the solution through your pipes.
Repeat process if you have a particularly nasty clog.
Note that this is a good process to go through occassionally in order to maintain free-flowing pipes.

Comments
If your pipes are clogged, pouring water on it wont help.
Why commercial drain cleaner works is that its heavier than water
In addition to my last comment, a green way of unclogging is a simple drain snake, they are available really cheap, and you turn the handle as it snakes around the pipes, and unclogs them, no chemicals involved
I’ve heard of this tip to fresen a smelly drain but not to open a clogged drain. if a plunger doesn’t work get a snake. Every clogged drain I’ve had even the store bought liquid drain opener wouldn’t cut and I’ve tried them all.
I am going to try this tomorrow. I would rather use this method a few times a month rather then using a heavy duty, chemical rich method twice a year.
Take the damn thing apart and remove the blockage....... My wifes hair blocks the bath every couple of months.
