Earth Pledge’s Future Fashion January 31 runway show will be kicking off this year’s New York Fashion Week. Future Fashion is an “Earth Pledge Initiative to continue to educate, research and demonstrate to the industry and consumers that there are interesting [environmental] options [in fashion]�. Future Fashion seeks to promote sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton, wool, recycled fabrics and more – and show they can be used on anything from couture to every day wear.

This year’s Fashion Future brings eco cutting-edge designers Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Jill Sander, Donna Karan, Narciso Rodriguez, and Versace to the runway.

Barney’s New York, instrumental in pulling this event together, will be featuring some of these one-of-a-kind eco designs in their windows on Madison Avenue for the first three weeks of February.
